Maybe I’m bias because I happen to be the best friend of front man Justin Walsh, but I don’t think I have ever heard a tighter, heavier, or more energetic band on the local seen than Collapse. Seriously, if life doesn’t get in their way, I could definitely see theses guys surpassing the success in evangelism realized by bands like P.O.D., Living Sacrifice, and Pillar. Word is there going to be in the studio sometime in the next couple of months, but for now the best way to hear them is live. Do yourself a favor and email Justin at juswalsh23@yahoo.com and ask to get on there mailing list so you can find out the 411 on their next gig. – SC (scarlson@skyward-bound.com)

This is the band that got me off NIN for good. I lived a non-Christian life for a long time because of the negativity put in my head by my non-Christian friends and my music. This album has the juice I need to rock the way I’m used to. Skillet is definitely the fix I need for my industrial-techno cravings. Check them out at www.alienyouth.com - SC
